Prairie Lands members John Sellers, Doug Goben and Ed Woolsey were invited to present information
regarding the Chariton Valley Biomass Project at the Agricultural Building at the 2001 Iowa State Fair.
Following each presentation, switchgrass seed samples with seeding directions were given away to
those in attendance.

The Chariton Valley Biomass Project was invited for a second year to exhibit an informational project display at
the 2001 Iowa State Fair.  The exhibit was located on the main floor of the Agricultural Building and highlighted the
switchgrass producer's group, Prairie Lands, as well as co-firing activities.  Fair goers were given the opportunity
to sign up to win a 50 pound bag of switchgrass seed.  The winner of the seed give away was John Dohrer of
Oxford, Iowa.  Seed was provided courtesy of Osenbaugh Grass and Wildflower Seed of Lucas Iowa, and
Prairie Lands Bio-Products, Inc.  For more information about switchgrass seed, contact Osenbaugh Seed at 800-582-2788
