The Chariton Valley RC&D received national recognition from the United States Department of Energy for the Chariton Valley Biomass Project at the Bioenergy 2002 Conference held recently in Boise, Idaho.

Doug Goben, Chariton Valley RC&D board member and Velvet Glenn, Chariton Valley Biomass Project coordinator received the award while attending the week long conference. More than 500 leaders in the biomass industry attended the conference.

 



 


United States Department of Energy Biomass Energy Program Recognizes Chariton Valley Resource Conservation & Development for Superior achievement in establishing, promoting, and implementing projects that demonstrate the efficient use of biomass energy resources and technologies.
